Nick Moran

Managing Director

Nick is one of the founding directors of Evolve IT Australia and has been the Managing Director since its inception back in 1993. His vision and work ethic have seen Evolve IT develop in to one of the industry leaders in managed services, technical services and corporate procurement. Nick’s true focus is working with the client to solve business problems not just technical issues. Nick enjoys being on the “front line” and always makes himself easily available to clients. His attention to detail and ability to manage and co-ordinate client projects are second to none. As well as his managing role, Nick ensures he stays at the forefront of technology to steer the company in the right direction. He has several IT industry certifications and is actively involved in industry non-profit associations. Recent Company Honours and Awards include: 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Small Business Specialist of the Year, Winner 2007 & Finalist 2008/2009 Australia Microsoft Small Business Partner of the Year, Winner 2008 CRN Regional Reseller of the Year and Finalist 2008 ARN IT Industry SMB Reseller of the Year.

Nick McCulloch

Technical Services Manager

Nick has worked in private, government and education sectors of the IT industry for over ten years. He has handled many projects of varying size from single user sites to WANs consisting of over 500 users. Nick is constantly keeping up with the latest emerging technologies in the industry, allowing him to adapt quickly to new technology. With Nick’s industry experiences and communication skills he is easily able to communicate to all parties involved in projects from the end users through to vendor support specialists. Nick specialises in backup and disaster recovery solutions, firewall security setups, Exchange, SQL administration and network administration, although technically he is a true all-rounder. He holds a Linux plus Certification and a variety a Microsoft Certified Professional certification (specialising in Exchange) and is currently updating his MCSE and Cisco certifications to be compliant with the latest Microsoft Operating Systems.

Jeremy Ymer

Managed Services Manager

Jeremy has been with Evolve IT since 1999 and in his time here he has progressed from a Level 1 Systems Engineer right up to the Managed Services Manager, and is now responsible for a team of staff providing Professional Services Australia wide. Amongst other certifications, Jeremy is a Microsoft Certified Professional, HP Certified Technician and Sophos Certified Professional. He specialises in the support and management of server operating systems and applications, anti-virus and backup applications and hardware support (especially HP/Compaq). Jeremy has efficient problem solving skills combined with a terrific customer focus. His Management skills and ability to remotely manage client’s environments with the support of his team are without fault. His diligence and aptitude has won many clients over, and quite often he is specifically requested by our clients

Managed Services Team

Evolve IT’s managed services team consists of a small group of service desk operators and systems engineers. They are responsible for monitoring, managing and maintaining managed service client’s systems. When you call our service desk, it’s the managed service team that assists you and manages your call.

Technical service team

The technical service team at Evolve IT is primarily responsible for staging and provisioning new client infrastructure projects. From new server installations to complex setup of disaster recovery systems, this team are the brains trust of configuring the technology to suit the required solution.

Professional Services Team

The professional services team consists of several experienced consultants and business account managers who speak the language of business, not just technical jargon. This team is usually responsible for the initial engagement with new clients - learning about their business, their goals and their issues. Staff in this team are charged with finding ways to make a business work better through technology.

Administration Team

Evolve IT’s administration team provides business support and administration functions, from accounts to customer service.
